JJC Media, Others Attend Community Development Conference Posted 4 September 2008 JJC Media's Steve Huff and Lori Scovel, along with area economic development, municipal and chamber personnel, attended the sixth annual regional community development conference "Small Towns on the Road to Success" yesterday, Wednesday, Sept. 3, at the Heartland Agribition Center in Independence.   The keynote session was a presentation by David Lyons (pictured), Chief Business Development Officer for the Iowa Farm Bureau Federation, on the 'Future of the Bio-Industry in Northeast Iowa." Breakout session held throughout the day focused on themes of "Going Green" and "Workforce and Housing."
