Services 'Suspended' at Waterville Post Office
Posted 28 August 2008
Services will be temporarily suspended at the Waterville Post Office effective at the end of the business day tomorrow, Friday, Aug. 29.

Karen S. Lenane, Manager of Post Office Operations in Cedar Rapids, recently reported the change in service to local residents via a letter.

USPS says the change is due to the termination of the lease by the owner of the local post office building. The post office anticipates new arrangements will be made in locating a new location.

After Friday, all mail will be delivered to either newly erected cluster boxes or new individual mail boxes by a rural mail carrier located from the Monona Post Office.

Local resident who have any questions concerning the change may contact the Monona Postmaster at 563-539-2195.
