One interesting study links eating French fries to an increased breast cancer risk. THe study from Harvard Medical School involved 582 breast cancer patients and 1,569 healthy women. Both the subjects and their mothers were asked about their diet during cildhood. Researchers conclude that those who often French fries had increased breast cancer risk. In particular, for each serving of French fries, girls between 3-5 years old increase their risk of developing breast cancer by the time they are adults by 27%.
